In the colonial plantation manner, the low reclining chair with open back and caned splat beneath an intricately turned top rail. The open back allows air to flow freely through resulting in a cooling effect - essential for hot and steamy weather on the veranda. The beautifully polished mahogany and neo-classical decor of the arms and legs refer back to Georgian and Regency design for inspiration. The two voluminous seat cushions are covered in RU Hemp Twill (5669)
