A contemporary poolhouse sitting in the grounds of a Grade 1 listed 17th century Manor House.

The pool house sits between the pool and the tennis court, and is surrounded by a beautiful walled garden.

Rose's brief was to create a harmonious interior within the context of a contemporary wooden structure. We adapted the interior to contain living space and kitchen as the primary interest, but with a very glamorous yet functional spa/changing area. Old wood was used to help to accentuate the blend with the outdoors. It was also important for the space to function independently of the pool and tennis court which are either side.

The room can be used all year round for many different activities, not just when the pool is open.

I wanted the interior to feel as if it blended with the outdoors
