LONDON CRAFT WEEK MAY 2016

For its second edition, London Craft Week offered a rare opportunity to see some of the UK’s most outstanding craftsmen in action.

Rose Uniacke is proud to be at the vanguard of such exemplary craftsmanship and this year showcased the work of one of our master upholsterers. He  demonstrated his prowess with a needle and thread in our Pimlico Road shop window over 2 days at the beginning of May. He worked on a pair of Secessionist chairs and a Biedermeier harp stool.

In addition, visitors to the shop were able to see behind-the-scenes footage of how some of our most iconic pieces are made by the country’s finest craftsmen.
