Brandt Edgar

Biography

Edgar Brandt was at the forefront of ironmongery in the early 20th century, his work ranging from ground breaking weaponry to exquisite lighting and decorative metalwork. When sourcing other materials to compliment his ironwork, Brandt used only the best suppliers. Porcelain from Sevres, marble sourced in Italy and the glass shades that Brandt designed for his Cobra lights were provided by Daum Freres of Nancy, one of the leading manufacturers of glass.
