Shape: Tapered drum with diffuser top
Produced by the last 'Beetler' in Ireland, Seed is crafted using the unique traditional technique of Beetling that dates back to the early 1700s. The fabric goes through a process where the woven fabric is pounded with wooden mallets (called 'beetlers') resulting in a flat finish on both the face and reverse sides The result is a high sheen, lustrous, crisp, and almost paper like quality.
We recommend that this shade be paired with our 'Trilobe' Lamp in White (CE Wiring 8206 and US Wiring 9134), and 'Capri' Lamp in Black (CE Wiring 5111 and US Wiring 8121), both by Isabelle Sicart.
