About this Fabric
Application: Curtains
Composition: 58% Linen, 35% Wool, 7% PES
A re-created fabric brought back to life from mill archives, Rose put together colours from yarn cards which were then sample woven by hand to choose the colours for Hop. The result of multi tone yarns create an additional dimension to an already textured weave.
This fabric brings texture and warmth to an interior by utilising a leno weaving technique, whereby warp yarns are twisted in a figure-of-eight motion after which the weft is passed through. The visual result is an open and airy weave, whereby the twisted yarns add a high degree of strength and keep a grid-like structure in place, minimising slippage. Ideal for drapery.
Warp = 100% European linen
Weft = Artisanal spun slub yarn composed of linen and wool
