by Rose Uniacke
£1,320
ROSE UNIACKE EDITIONS
Limited edition of 10
Turned from sustainable English Oak and shaped using traditional hand tools, spokeshaves and planes, the simple splayed stiles and steam bent legs are assembled and pegged "in the green" using mortice and tenon joints.
Through this traditional process, the wet green oak joints contract as the whole piece naturally dries and cures over time, resulting in a stronger chair with a minimal carbon footprint - without the use of an industrial drying process.
