Biography

Founded in Barcelona in the late 18th Century, Valentí began as a silversmith workshop before evolving into an internationally renowned luxury furniture company. They blend traditional artisan craftsmanship with high-end contemporary design.

Their iconic leather-wrapped floor and table lamps are very famously, but incorrectly, regularly attributed to the French designer Jacques Adnet.Valentí designed and manufactured these lamps in-house during the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. Because Adnet also worked on some leather-accented furniture during that era, dealers frequently mislabel Valentí floor lamps as 'Adnet' designs
