Biography

Born Yashima Yukio in Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture, was a respected Japanese metalwork artist known for his thoughtful and distinctive bronze pieces. He studied under the accomplished metalworker Katori Masahiko, whose guidance played a significant role in shaping his artistic path. B?sh?'s work was regularly shown at the Nihon Dento K?geiten (Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition), and he also contributed to the field as a jury member for the Japan Art Crafts Association in the Toyama region.
